Shell breaks new ground - Shell V-Power Network of Champions

A little tired, I was on a plane to London on Thursday morning. "Oh, great, are you doing sightseeing?", Most of them are probably wondering ... Neee, I'm a champion now. "A mushroom - for what?" For shells!

Enough of the puns, you demand clear words, which you're welcome to get. No sumptuous pleasure trip is in front of me - though I think it will be fun and I will learn interesting things about car food. Recently, there is a network, more specifically the " Shell V-Power Network of Champions 2011 ". Sounds great, right?
Unfortunately, you do not have to do an e-rally, do not put on a hydrogen spaghetti sock (like on the F-Cell World Drive), but it helps a lot when you're on power. Fits? Fits!

Shell breaks new ground - Shell V-Power Network of Champions My last encounter with Shell was on the - where too otherwise? - Gas station instead. As an ultranormal customer, I drink here, here and there, and also at the fuel dealer, who always triggers a little wanderlust in me when I see the shell.
But the other day I had to smile when I looked at the cash register display. p>

"Welcome"
"Your Shell Select Tea"

Tea? Tea? Haha, for the last M, the display was no longer enough. Incidentally, the line was not "hiked", otherwise it would have been reasonably ok.

Tea, London? Fits again! Back to the emotions and associations, shell, operating fluids, but then ...

What does the thought of Shell still trigger in me? Let's leave aside the E10 discussion and the tank prices, that should not be the topic of the event, to which I am invited. Shell's focus on the network is elsewhere. V-Power, the noble stuff, so a high-performance fuel is our theme. Another thought: refueling is somehow always unsexy.

Incidentally, I had asked separately if I could bring a few questions about E10. Unfortunately, the topic should - in the agenda temporally - remain outside. But otherwise it would also mean " Hell E10-Fail Flatwork of Mentions 2011 ", if you look at the discussions in the social networks like Facebook, Twitter and blogs. I have been able to ask a few questions, but more about that later.

Back to the "right" network, who is taking part in this? Shell says, "In an effort to create a global community of enthusiasts who share our passion for automotility this year, the Shell brings together V-Power Network of Champions enthusiasts from Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and the Philippines."
The participants are known from film, radio, television, Twitter and blogs, who that is, I'll tell later. Of course you can see who tweens under the hashtag #SVPChamps.

So this is the first event of all three this year and I was curious about what awaits me on the first day. Social media was heavy ... but that's exactly my thing. Details follow.

I will continue to report, now good night! Tomorrow we go to the labs of Shell. Let's see if I can swing the Erlenmeyer flask sometimes. ; -)
