Tazzari Zero - test drive + practice report of the small Italian Knutschkugel

Tazzari Zero - test drive + practice report of the small Italian Knutschkugel Tazzari Zero - the little Italian among e-cars. The first time I saw him - in orange - at the E-Mobility Day in Hanover, on the right you see the photo, on the top click it gets bigger and is better to see.

A short video (during of charging) I have created from the orange model, please pay attention to the disco mouse cinema light organ in the cockpit:

Tazzari Zero - test drive + practice report of the small Italian Knutschkugel Then - in green - on the Silvretta E-Auto Rally, but unfortunately not so right off the wire get the photo I picked out of the Parc Fermé for you. Only on the e-miglia or directly on the day of departure - all in red - I have been able to record cloth steering wheel feel. Data and further information on the rolling electric pizza is available in German on the smiles website and from me:

Before leaving the e-miglia, there was a chance meeting of several people in front of the hotel and they talked - how could it be otherwise - still on the E -Cars. The co-pilot of Tazzari Karin Mewald was able to let off steam in the Tesla of Patrick, and then he was endorphinously happy for 3 days. Can I understand, after her also Tesla drove. The Tazzari driver Heinz J. Rabe was happy to ask and test drive us as well. In the end I came to it. It was probably better that way, I just say "glove box" ... when I first start.

I did not have a slalom tour , but I took the top with" high speed ". And otherwise I did not let any spaghetti burn, that is: I had the gas pedal down to the bottom plate. After all, you have to try out whether the Tazzari pulls a baby plum or a sole from the plate. I think Heinz did not expect my very fast driving style, but he was just a little bit white around the nose, he quickly realized that I know what I'm doing.

His first, Approaching sentence, when we arrived back at the hotel: " May I take a rally course with you? ", I was pleased ... and in the e-mail from the other day, Heinz confirmed: " to After the small rally ride with you, I drove much more dynamically afterwards !Thank you all again for THANK YOU, it was a wonderful time and a great experience.

e-miglia & holiday with tazzari zero

e-miglia - an experience with e-motion we do not want to miss. In addition to the great organization & (electricity) supply and the beautiful routes, it was for us above all the people we met here who made this trip special and special. A big thank you to all and hopefully to see you soon. I would like to say a special thanks again to our volunteer "service team" Tazzari, the wave of helpfulness from all teams, especially from our professional Tazzari rescuers & after my super-power load attempt was indescribable. You not only repaired a car, but also saved our holiday (if not more :-)). THANK YOU

Indulged by the perfect power supply during the rally, the first step into the hardware store was now a Buy extension cord and an adapter for the Italian power sockets. From Roveretto it goes to Riva del Garda and we are already curious how to accommodate us or rather our means of transportation. We had learned a lot about our car during the rally and were full of plans for the leisurely return journey. Still with a clear no in the room reservation our Tazzari in the country house Festa del Fer was well received and was allowed to load in a formerly built for the Puch 500 garage (exact Tazzari size). We got on bicycles and enjoyed a day at the lake.

Tazzari Zero - test drive + practice report of the small Italian Knutschkugel From Riva del Garda via Tenno - Passo del BALLINO (763m) - Fiare - Passo DURONE (968) to Pinzola, where we stopped for lunch. After we have explained to the friendly lady in the pizzeria that we could not get our car into the pub to infect, we were allowed to load our car behind the house at the kitchen entrance. While we fortified ourselves and took a short walk, our Tazzari got so strong that we reached the Campiglio (1.500m) Male & Mostizzolo via Madonna, where we were allowed to reload with a nice card game and coffee and to Rumo/Marceno Continue to the hotel Cavallo Bianco, where we were welcomed with our car with extension cable again friendly. We had to get used to the fact that more attention was always paid to the car than to the drivers.

On the recommendation of one of our hosts we set off through the PROVES pass (1.420m) to Val'dUltimo - often with motorcyclists and cyclists on the road we drove in glorious sunshine through South Tyrol's mountains. After a leisurely lunch, where our Tazzari was allowed to go back to the socket, we continued via Lana and Meran to the already well-known Quellenhof, where we were invited to re-charge to get ready for our personal queen stage, the ride over the Timmelsjoch! 2,474 back to Austria. To this day, I'm not sure whether Heinz joked with me when he asked me in the middle of the track, if 1500 was the highest point or if he had really hidden the 2,500 altitude difference. In the evening sun, we drove with the little red car through glorious valleys into the high mountains - at the pass the battery indicator glowed with our bright eyes around the bet, but also this challenge was brilliantly mastered by the little Tazzari.Through the Ötztal direction Imst and further into the mountains on the Hantenjoch (1894m), here we had probably the funniest of all our charging stations. Tazzari Zero - test drive + practice report of the small Italian Knutschkugel Just before the top of the pass we arrived at the Maldon Alm, we ignored the driving ban sign and thought, that Wild gesticulating farmer is probably because of evil, but behind us came only the cows, which were driven to the milking back into the stable - we are still fast through the gate gates and were allowed to infect our Tazzari again with great hello, while behind the cows leisurely in the Stables trotted. We enjoyed the tranquility, the sun and our card game and are with charged batteries and a full stomach on to Reutte, where we were the first time in the hotel Tannenhof during the evening service for a bit of excitement, but also without a fuss a socket have been provided/p>

From Reutte we went via Füssen - this time on the west bank of the Forggensee via Schongau & Peiting to Dießen am Ammersee to the Park & Charge charging station at the station. While our Tazzari loads, we sail after an initial lull in beautiful wind on the Ammersee and a great dinner on the lake sounds like our vacation. After more than 1,200 km and countless elevation meters (about 14,000), the Tazzari rolls back to its home charging station in Puchheim after 10 days.

In summary, we say that we received a warm welcome everywhere were able to load anywhere and actually only once the stream was not charged over the tip. Our car has caused a stir, where we stopped - everywhere we were approached by the people and questioned about technical details - with some very surprised and consistently positive reactions. Holiday with the electric car makes the way to the destination - you enjoy the scenery and the small roads away from the main traffic routes - we compared it with motorcycling. It takes a different schedule than a conventional car and either more time or shorter distances than usual. We enjoyed this decelerated mode of transport very much and we agree that we certainly did not set off last time with our Tazzari Zero to conquer Central Europe. ... and watch out - at the next rally we'll be at the top!

Karin Mewald gives us a "disinterested" holiday tip, Hotel Veltlin in the Lower Austrian Weinviertel:
" For all who love their Electric car to come to the Weinviertel - My Hotel Veltlin now has charging stations (including high voltage) ready for you! "

That's the way to set a good example to support e-mobility , I hope Karin, you also have free Wi-Fi and enough sockets for the smart phones and netbooks in the beautiful rooms! ; -)
